What are my Cancellation Rights?

Our aim at Liberty SIPP is to give our clients as much flexibility and protection as possible within their pension. We give all clients a 30 day cancellation period which cannot be waived. Within that period, you can invest and retain your 30 day cancellation period. Of course, if you have invested any funds within the 30 day cancellation period you may get back less than you originally invested and Liberty SIPP cannot be held responsible for any loss.

Upon receiving your application form we will write to you explaining your rights, and how to exercise these if you change your mind.

If you cancel your SIPP any contributions made will be returned and if there are any funds that have been transferred into the SIPP during this period we will attempt to return these to the provider you have transferred from. We cannot guarantee this will be possible, as not all providers will allow funds to be returned. If the original provider will not accept the funds back we will allow you to transfer out of the Liberty SIPP free of charge if you have cancelled the membership within the 30 days.

Please note the value of investments, and any income from them can go down as well as up and you may not get back your original investment. We do not offer advice about the suitability of our products or any investments held within them. Should you require financial advice you should consult a suitably qualified financial adviser
