How long will it take to set up my Liberty SIPP?

We can set up your Liberty SIPP as soon as we receive confirmation that you have applied online and have passed the necessary anti-money laundering checks that we are required to carry out.

If you do not apply online but instead send in a paper application, we will require this along with identification documents before we can set up your Liberty SIPP.

We will then open you a SIPP bank account with Metro Bank, which will be where any transfers are received or contributions made are deposited.

We will write to you and to your financial adviser if you have appointed one, confirming that your application has been accepted, and we will provide details of the bank account we have opened with Metro Bank.

If Liberty have all the information required, Liberty can set up a SIPP and have an account open within a matter of days. Recieving contributions or transfers from other providers into the SIPP account may take longer.
