Due to the prominence of a few large companies within the SIPP marketplace it is easy to get the impression that the only thing you can use a SIPP for is to buy stocks and shares.
This is the Henry Ford “Model T Ford” approach to customer service – “you can have any colour car you want as long as it’s black”. It’s done not to sell SIPPs but to make commissions on shares.
A SIPP should provide access to the full spectrum of permissible investments – whatever the Inland Revenue allow. That’s Liberty’s approach; we set out our stall to respond to all situations.
