Matthew Ashton-Melia

Matthew first heard of Liberty whilst playing for Euxton Corinthians a local football team sponsored by Liberty SIPP. He mistook the word SIPP for SHIP and therefore you may understand his confusion when turning up for his first day in deck shoes and shorts to find an office in sunny Ramsbottom with the only water nearby being the highly navigable River Irwell.

Matthew works in technical sales alongside the other Matthew (it can get very confusing) and focuses on our IFA base in the north of England.

A fitness fanatic, healthy food eating, Blackburn Rovers fan Matthew likes to spend the time he can stop thinking about pensions pursuing his dream of playing semi-professional football (most probably for another team sponsored by Liberty SIPP) and dreaming up ways of subverting the board at his beloved Rovers and taking them back to the top of the premier league.
